Compliance software for licensed cannabis operators: brand identity, product design, website and investor deck, from seed to sale.

Context

FLWR Tech was a start-up building software for licensed cannabis operators, to simplify regulatory inventory reporting. It was a regulated market, where the product could not afford to look unreliable.

I was the senior designer, taking it from brand identity to product and website. The brief: reporting that does not feel like paperwork.

Brand

A fresh, confident identity for a serious task: lime and emerald, and a symbol of rays over a balance.

The mark is built from one beam, one stem and four rays, and it comes alive in a short animation. Then it goes to work on the office, the stand, merch, tags and paper.

Decisions

Three roles, one record: operators report, regulators investigate, and anyone can scan a package to verify it. Every screen was designed around who is looking at it.

Rules read like sentences, and the interface flags what does not add up before it becomes a finding.

Website

A clean site that explains the product in a minute, from the home page to product and pricing.

Takeaways

In regulated software, clarity is the feature. Designing brand, product and pitch together kept one voice from the first impression to the investor deck.
